Standardising central line setup by introducing a “central line bag” containing all the kit necessary.

 

In an Emergency Department with around 300 staff, in a Resus treating multiple patients, inter-person variation can lead to adverse outcomes. By identifying and mitigating human factors, the aim is to standardise practice and hence improve patient care whilst standardising documentation.
