Claire graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2003 and has been a consultant in Emergency Medicine for 6 years. Since the opening of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in 2015 Claire has taken an active role in expanding the portfolio of research projects at QEUH and in 2017 became Lead for Research. She is principle investigator for NOVEL and Rapid-CTCA.

As Clinical Lead, Claire is delighted to work alongside a team of clinicians who are focused on delivering and developing excellence in patient care through innovation, research and education.

Out with medicine Claire is the medical advisor for Outlander, an award winning television drama produced by Starz.
