At the summit the data visualisation project developed in collaboration with KenSci and DYNAMIC an exemplar of innovative service redesign for patients with COPD will be presented. This continuous, proactive and participatory model of care co-created with StormID and the DHI targets a range of long term conditions using NHS Glasgow as a test bed to transform care delivery to patients with long term conditions.

Join us for an evening of inclusive, low-pressure digital health & care networking, and an inspiring talk centred around design thinking in health & care.

We are building out our base of volunteers throughout Scotland, so if you enjoy this event, are passionate about digital health & care and want to become part of our volunteer-led team, let us know!

We feel that we all have a part to play in the emotional wellbeing of our colleagues, and wanted to do something proactively to raise awareness and education around the issues we all see, or have seen in the workplace.

Therefore, ten high impact presentations will be given by top Scottish leaders, in the exploration of burnout, resilience and emotional wellbeing.

The theme of the day can be summarised as follows:

Emotional exhaustion, depersonalisation, vicarious trauma, and low sense of personal achievement are factors which contribute to burnout, intent to leave, ill health, and workplace error, not to mention the negative effect on our personal and professional relationships. They commonly occur in those who work within high stress environments, and in direct contact with people. The emotional wellbeing of our colleagues, friends and family is important and something we all have a part to play in proactively supporting”

Each presentation shall be short, sharp and hopefully entertaining.

We shall start with some hard hitting testimonies, and move towards a positive and pro-active ending, where we hope to lead a call to action for our respective organisations.

We hope for you to come away inspired as to how to make life work better for both yourself and your team.

Our presentations are relevant to police, medics and the broader multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Trauma App launched at the Scottish Trauma Network. Further funding secured to develop app from feasibility to full prototype.
